Van Oord wins EUR 500 million dredging contract
Van Oord has been awarded a significant land reclamation project in Kuwait for the Kuwait National Petroleum Company.
The contract value amounts to approximately EUR 500 million and involves the reclamation of land for the construction for a new refinery located in the Al-Zour area south of Kuwait City. Work on the project will start immediately, with completion foreseen in 30 months.
