Having developed significant expertise in the field of car insurance, Ascentiel mainly focuses on near-to-sub-standard motor insurance risks, leveraging the prominence of its flagship brand Assurpeople.com. The platform covers the entire insurance distribution cycle, from product co-development with insurers to underwriting or contract and claim management.
Next to its motor insurance, Ascentiel entered new specialty P&C segments. The launch of Airbag, a wholesale brokerage platform specializing in inherent defect insurance, marked its entry into the construction insurance for professionals. Similarly, the acquisition of Atara in 2022 strengthened its position in the pet insurance sector.
