SmartSD Successfully Completes Acquisition of DERO Security Products
21 November 2024, Breda/Eindhoven/Brussels - Cobepa is proud to announce that its portfolio company SmartSD, has completed the acquisition of DERO Security Products (“DERO”), a distributor of safety and security equipment in the Benelux region. This marks SmartSD’s first strategic acquisition since Cobepa’s ownership began in March 2024.
Based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, DERO specializes in delivering security products for professional installers and integrators. Its products portfolio includes video surveillance, alarm systems, and intercom from leading brands like Ajax, Dahua, Provision-ISR and Bandit.
DERO’s product range, brands and clients align closely with SmartSD’s, creating immediate opportunities for cross-selling and enhancing customer offerings. The integration will also drive operational efficiencies in warehousing and logistics, which will help further optimize delivery and customer service.
